J7XI / “Espacios Reclinables e Hijos 1” – Vinyl Set (2006)

This is an old vinyl set that I recorded in 2006. It’s not available anywhere and even myself I don’t preserve copies. There’s a second part online, recorded a few years later, and based (if my memory don’t fail me…) in net-labels stuff, completely different…

This one is timeless to me, even though I can’t hear more than 30 minutes in a row… lol

Let’s see some tracks included:

Ince · Geoff White Nintendisco ℗ 2004 2004 Spectral Sound/Ghostly International Released on: 2004-04-18
Pink Planet (Mikael Stavöstrand RMX) · Fenin Thrill ℗ Shitkatapult
Released on: 2005-04-08
A classic of the deeper Techno abysmal g-man aka Gez Varley (50% LFO’s duo) – remix from 1999 of the g-man “El Jem ” rmx Marco Carola … simply outstanding !

These one was aldo in this set but It wasn’t recorded in the set listed:

F.U.S.E. – Substance Abuse Label: Plus 8 Records – PLUS8013 Format: Vinyl, 12″, 33 ⅓ RPM, 45 RPM Country: Canada Released: 1991

Tracks that now are part of a decade of awesome levels of production.

Though, I feel the set concept excessively minimalist, (for my musical likes now…), the tracks are incredibly well selected (sorry, I have to say this… lol)

Due to several movings, travels, and a long stay in Asia for 8 years, I have lost all the external discs where I used to preserve all my security copies.

In my case, thanks to the hard work of Umo Serra , we still preserve an old site where there are hundred of sets from that time, from artists from and related to the collective EDKND.

This set is not shared online right now, but tonight while researching on Archive.org (one of my favorite sites lately with more utilities that it seems at first view) I have found a project called The Wayback Machine.

he Wayback Machine is a digital archive of the World Wide Web founded by Internet Archive, an American nonprofit organization based in San FranciscoCalifornia.

Launched for public access in 2001, the service allows users to go “back in time” to see how websites looked in the past. Founders Brewster Kahle and Bruce Gilliat developed the Wayback Machine to provide “universal access to all knowledge” by preserving archived copies of defunct web pages.

The Wayback Machine’s earliest archives go back at least to 1995, and by the end of 2009, more than 38.2 billion webpages had been saved. As of November 2024, the Wayback Machine has archived more than 916 billion web pages and well over 100 petabytes of data.

So if you lost data that once was online by any chance, probably it will be here.

By the way Archive.org is a huge compilation work that has problems to continue and as Wikipedia and other amazing projects of that dimension they need support.

If you find that this monumental archive should be preserved you can donate here.

If you wanna access the EDKND Archive click here.
