TRANSMISSION is a podcast concept produced by Vibes Mgzn, where we are going to express our visions and thoughts about many different subjects with some of our favourite artists. We will talk about things related with their profession and their way of expressing, but we will talk also about the life in general. We just want to have a chat about whatever the guests want to tell us.
That’s the idea that we want to transmit with this podcast. talk about art and creation but see also the human dimension of our favourite artists. Talk about things that happen in our daily life. This is our TRANSMISSION # and we expect to come back around the 25th November with a very special guest, one woman from Jaen that just have released her first album with a very very good feedback. In my opinion, is going to be for sure one of the albums of the Year in Spain… I don’t want to say more we will talk again in transmission too in the end of November thank you for listening and thank you for support our program
For more than two decades, Dj Toner has been one of the Spanish references in terms of mixing jazz, hip hop and electronic music, both alone and as head of the Domestic collective and its current project DJToner Q4rtet. His new work comes five years after his previous one, Grandmaster Jazz (2016) and he does it through Vindig Records. Entitled Blessed Are The Weird People, it is an album of twelve songs with which the Andalusian artist ยซexplores and creates musical passages that delve into a sound journey full of nuances and details where, as if he were an orchestra conductor, DJ Toner extracts the best of each of the elements contributed by the musicians who participate, making one of the maxims of Jazz come true: sharing and involving the listener.
